RR1011B Senatorial Toga, Linen

Roman Senatorial Toga in linen. 6 yards, long approximately 58″ to 60″ wide. Made from 5-6 oz. bleached white linen. Allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. A red stripe may be substituted for the purple stripe. Custom togas are also available. Contact us for availability.
The Roman toga has a long history dating from the early Republic period through the Empire. Many colors were worn by various classes of people, although white seemed to be the most common. The toga was worn for special occasions only, such as weddings and other special events.
